This second most important complex temple after Besakih is worth to visit, especially at Odalan festival, falls around March - April.

Mount Batur is a small active volcano (1,717 meters) has the largest lake in Bali with 14 km diameter and 65 meters deep. Trekking to mount Batur summit take about 2 hours, so if you start to climb at 4 am you will get to summit at 6 am in time for sunrise, its amazing view to see sunrise from the peak of mount Batur. Also you can see mout Agung and mount Abang. Trekking down from the peak via Toya Bungkah you will pass through pine forest and after that you can enjoy hot spring in Toya Bungkah.
